How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about scheduling a tour. We do not use the information submitted through any forms on our website for marketing purposes.
Data on website visitors is exported to a third-party vendor. In this case it is Google Analytics.
What Type of Data is Collected and Why?
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our site. An IP address is not used in a way that can identify you personally. IP addresses are a way for us to determine if there are any website or server issues, analyze website traffic and usage, which pages you visit, links clicked, when you perform those actions, and so on, with the use of Google Analytics. This also includes what type of device was used and browser type.
We only ask for personal information if it’s needed to provide a service. This may include your name, DOB, email address, physical address, phone number, RFID tag, health details, ethnicity, genetics, and biometrics.
If you make a donation, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processor, NetworkforGood.com, who are GDPR compliant and specialize in the secure online capture and processing of credit card transactions.
Email Distribution Lists
JCYS regularly uses email to send updates on your student. Upon registration you will be given the option to receive these updates. However, for safety purposes, you may be added so that you may be informed of any important information regarding health or emergency situations.
Access Your Data & Right to be Forgotten
You have the right to access the collected data and receive a copy of that data at any time.
The right to be forgotten gives you the option to erase all personal data and stop further collection and processing of data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

JCYS uses SSL encryption when you contact us which automatically encrypts your data before being sent.
