Sunflower Day Camp
JCYS offers year-round care for families – Sunflower Day Camp is our summer program for our youngest campers. From children’s concerts to nature walks in our local parks to arts and crafts back at our Family Center, Sunflower Day Camp at JCYS Lincoln Square Ravenswood is full of fun and adventures. Kids enjoy all the great activities and programs that we offer during the school year, plus special summer fun in the sun and plenty of time in the water.
Our older Sunflower campers also take field trips: in past years, we’ve gone to Wrigley Field’s Gallagher Way to enjoy the summer concert series and to the Adams Playground for fun in the newly renovated preschool water park.
JCYS Sunflower Day Camp is the perfect summer program for kids who attend JCYS preschool during the school year and want to stay with the friends and teachers they know, without missing out on summer adventures. Sunflower Camp is staffed by our regular early childhood teachers, who have years of experience leading engaging and fun programs.
It’s not just for the kids, either: the whole family is part of the Sunflower Day Camp community at JCYS. We welcome parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and siblings to come together and enjoy JCYS events and special days together. We also hold an inclusive Shabbat celebration every Friday with challah bread and grape juice – family members are welcome to come and enjoy this special time with their children.

Registration is now open!
In order to complete your registration, you must provide a non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit. Deposits for infant care, toddler care, and preschool are $250; for all other programs, they are $150. Deposits will be applied to the final program invoice or forfeited with early withdrawal.
