At JCYS Buffalo Grove, we welcome every child to learn and grow through creative play and guided exploration. Our curriculum introduces children to the fundamentals of math, literacy, and science.

Children at JCYS Buffalo Grove develop confidence and independence through active play on our outdoor playgrounds, full-size indoor gym, and dance studio. Our teachers build a supportive relationship with each child and encourage students to practice social skills and express emotions in healthy ways.  We are proud of our welcoming, diverse parent and family community and invite you to visit us today!

JCYS is proud to be an organization dedicated to advancing diversity, equality, and inclusion. On this Juneteenth, we will take a moment to remember and honor this historic day. We will be reminded that there is still work to do as we stand together as a community (Kehillah) dedicated to equality and justice. Through the power of teaching our children the core values of Judaism and humanity including being kind, caring, treating others with respect, and the practice of repairing the world, (Tikkun Olam) we are hopeful that we will help raise an all-inclusive generation. All of us at JCYS look forward to the day when we can celebrate the true equity that should come with independence. ... See MoreSee Less

We at JCYS join with people all over the world in expressing our profound sadness over the tragic death of George Floyd, the misconduct that caused his death, and the degree of racial injustice that still exists that allows for that type of violence.

JCYS creates a loving and nurturing environment for children of all backgrounds, guided by Jewish values. These values are foundational in creating the kind of future we would be proud to have our children be a part of and in raising a community of “mensches.” Key among these values are:

• Chesed - caring and being kind;
• Kavod - treating others with respect and being tolerant of differences while dealing peacefully with anger;
• Kehillah - having a sense of community and doing your share to be a good neighbor and friend while making your community a better place; and, of course,
• Tikkun Olam - repairing the world.

These values, coupled with what families teach within their homes, make up the caring, devoted, loving, and accepting community that we are proud to have within the JCYS organization.
