Big City Day Camp has it all for campers entering grades K-8 in the Fall!

BCDC campers experience the best of Chicago while gaining social skills, giving back to the community through stewardship opportunities, and growing in leaps and bounds in a positive, amazingly fun environment. Based at the contemporary Center on Halsted, BCDC campers sample theatre, swimming, cooking, yoga, soccer, tennis, visual and performing arts, golf and music through weekly field trips and workshops taught by professionals in the field. Every summer is a different experience with new and favorite trips around the city and suburbs.

Stewardship Opportunities and Post Camp

Experienced staff sprinkle in singing, cooperative games, dancing and arts and crafts, and each Friday is made special when we celebrate the Jewish tradition of Shabbat and enjoy a cook out for lunch. The week ends with unique stewardship opportunities where campers support projects such as animal shelters, senior centers, environmental projects, and childrens’ needs.

Choose the days your camper attends, or an entire week as part of your four-week minimum registration. Post camp is also available to campers who did not attend BCDC during the summer. Post camp combines all age groups and offers a new field trip every day.
