Before and After School Care
JCYS Buffalo Grove offers children in Kindergarten through 5th grade the opportunity to start and/or end their day in a comfortable and engaging setting. Smaller class sizes and multiple play spaces ensure that your child receives individualized attention and opportunities to participate in hands-on experiences with peers. Our play-based curriculum emphasizes creativity, exploration, and developing character by using teachable moments to foster growth throughout the day.
In Before Care, JCYS staff provide children with a cold breakfast as well as quiet activities and games to start the school day. In After Care, JCYS staff members provide a time for children to relax, eat snacks, complete homework, and engage in activity centers around the room. Each week, we explore a new theme through special activities that rotate each day.
Transportation
JCYS is conveniently located near the border of school districts 96 and 102. District 102 provides busing to JCYS for Before and After Care. Busing to and from District 96 will be available depending on enrollment.
