At JCYS Buffalo Grove, we welcome every child to learn and grow through creative play and guided exploration, beginning at 6 weeks of age. Our Reggio-inspired, play-based curriculum allows children to feel valued and honored as teachers actively incorporate their interests into meaningful learning experiences. Through this approach, children are introduced to the fundamentals of math, literacy, and science in engaging and relevant ways.

Children develop confidence and independence through active play in our outdoor playgrounds, full-size indoor gym, and dance studio. Our teachers build supportive relationships with each child, encouraging the practice of social skills and the healthy expression of emotions. Additionally, our music specialist leads bi-weekly music lessons for all ages, fostering a love for music and creativity.

Families of every faith are welcome at JCYS. We incorporate Jewish traditions and values into our inclusive curriculum, celebrating events like Shabbat every Friday with Challah bread and participating in classroom tzedakah (charitable giving) projects. These experiences foster a sense of community, kindness, and shared values.

We are proud of our welcoming and diverse parent and family community. We offer many opportunities for family engagement, including center-wide events, room parents, and a room parent committee.

Hours of Operation

JCYS Buffalo Grove is open from 7:15 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday during the school year.
JCYS Buffalo Grove is open from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday during the summer.
