JCYS Lincoln Square Ravenswood Enrichment

More Ways to Grow

Music, movement, mindfulness, and Jewish life are woven into our curriculum.

Our enrichment programs deepen learning, build community, and bring joy!

Music with Miss Kaylee

Weekly sessions with Music Specialist Kaylee Hofman are part science, part magic. Children sing, move, play instruments, and explore sound in ways that build listening skills, language, memory, and coordination, and it just feels like fun.

Yoga & Mindfulness with Busy Little Yogis

Through Brain to Belly Kids Yoga, children get a chance to slow down and move with intention. Every other week, each class weaves together movement, storytelling, breathwork, and relaxation, helping children build body awareness, focus, and tools for managing big feelings, all in a way that feels like pure play.

Jewish Life

Every Friday, classrooms come alive with the joy of Shabbat, and every Monday morning, our Judaica Specialist, Ms. Max, leads Havdalah, the ceremony that closes Shabbat and opens the week. Children hold the kiddush cup, smell the spice bags they filled themselves, and watch the flame go out with a whispered “aishhhh.” Throughout the year, Jewish holidays, values, stories, and songs are woven into classroom life through puppets, dancing, and books, so that Jewish identity feels like something children live, not just learn about.
