Before and After School Care Open to D102 K-5th Graders

JCYS Buffalo Grove offers kindergarten through 5th-grade children the opportunity to start and/or end their day in a comfortable and engaging setting. Smaller class sizes and multiple play spaces ensure your child receives individualized attention and opportunities to participate in hands-on experiences with peers. The environment will nurture your child’s creativity and exploration and help them develop character by using teachable moments to foster growth throughout their time in the program.

In Before Care, JCYS staff provide children with a cold breakfast, quiet activities, and games to start the school day. In After Care, JCYS staff members provide a time for children to relax, eat snacks, complete homework, and engage in activity centers around the room. Children also have the opportunity to enjoy games and sports activities in our full-size gymnasium. JCYS boasts beautiful outdoor space, and when the weather is nice, the school-aged children can enjoy fresh air on our sports court, create games in our large field area, or play games of gaga!

• We’ve got you covered when schools are closed and on Early Release days (please see calendar for exclusions)
  • No after-school programming on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. JCYS will close early in observance of Rosh Hashanah
  • No before-school or after-school programming on Thursday, October 3 – Friday, October 4, 2024. JCYS will be closed in observance of Rosh Hashanah
  • No after-school programming on Friday, October 11, 2024. JCYS will close early in observance of Yom Kippur.
  • No before-school or after-school programming on Monday, April 14, 2025. JCYS will be closed in observance of Passover
• Before School Club as early as 7:15 am
• Choose any number of days/any days of the week

Before School Club

• Whether your child is ready to run and play or prefers snuggling with a book, join us as early as 7:15 am until the district buses arrive.

After School Club

• In the After School Club, we aim to create a home-away-from-home for children in Kindergarten through 5th from their arrival at JCYS from school to 5:30 pm.
