Parent-tot Yoga Class

JCYS Wicker Park’s parent-tot yoga class, in partnership with jBaby, will be a fun and interactive class consisting of classic yoga poses through developmentally appropriate play! This class will focus on coordination, flexibility, strength, balance, self-esteem, and will have an overall emphasis of healthy and joy, for parent(s) and child to experience together. Visit to check dates and register online. This year’s parent-tot classes will be offered on Saturdays from 9:30-10:15 AM during the following session:

  • February 3 – March 10, 2018
  • April 14 – May 19, 2018
  • October 13 – November 17, 2018

Big City Day Camp

Grades K – 8
9 am – 3 pm*
Based at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, Chicago, Il

An urban adventure day camp offering flexible scheduling, unique field trips, specialty workshops, and community service including:

  • Swim lessons with Red Cross certified instructors, and weekly sessions with professional sport coaches, artists, musician’s, yoga instructors, and theatre specialists.
  • Experienced staff that add in cooperative games, cooking, arts and crafts and FUN! Campers enjoy the best of Chicago and the suburbs with exciting field trips, Chicago beaches, cookouts, and stewardship opportunities with this one-of-a-kind urban camp adventure. Older campers enjoy a one night overnighter at JCYS Camp Henry Horner.

Looking for care on days that school is closed? We’ve got you covered! Our School’s Out Days for K-5th grade are packed with fun. Care is available from 7:30 am-6:00 pm. Each day includes an exciting field trip as well as sports, games, arts and crafts back at our center.
