Kathryn holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate studies, she began teaching as a half-day preschool teacher, where she discovered her passion for early childhood education. After several years of teaching, Kathryn pursued a master’s degree in educational administration from National Louis University to further her expertise in the field.
Throughout her career, Kathryn has held various leadership roles in early childhood education centers, including roles as a lead preschool teacher, enrichment coordinator & curriculum director, assistant director, and executive director. One of her greatest joys in working with children is hearing the delightful and often humorous stories they share. Kathryn is dedicated to building strong connections with families and is committed to supporting every child in reaching their full potential.
Originally from Riverside, IL, Kathryn has called the city of Chicago home for over ten years. She absolutely loves all that Chicago has to offer and truly believes it is one of the greatest cities in the world. Outside of her professional life, Kathryn enjoys outdoor adventures with her dogs, spending quality time with her family and friends, and exploring her latest creative pursuits.
