At JCYS Buffalo Grove, we welcome every child to learn and grow through creative play and guided exploration, beginning at 6 weeks of age. Our play-based curriculum allows children to feel valued and honored as teachers actively incorporate their interests into meaningful learning experiences. Through this approach, children are introduced to the fundamentals of math, literacy, and science in engaging and relevant ways.
Children develop confidence and independence through active play in our outdoor playgrounds, full-size indoor gym, and dance studio. Our teachers build supportive relationships with each child, encouraging the practice of social skills and the healthy expression of emotions. Additionally, our music specialist leads bi-weekly music lessons for all ages, fostering a love for music and creativity.
Families of every faith are welcome at JCYS. We incorporate Jewish traditions and values into our inclusive curriculum, celebrating events like Shabbat every Friday with Challah bread and participating in classroom tzedakah (charitable giving) projects. These experiences foster a sense of community, kindness, and shared values.

JCYS’ Child and Family Development Specialist partners with teachers and families to ensure your child thrives in the classroom, at home, and beyond. She provides personalized support, resources, and guidance to help foster each child’s development and address any concerns or needs families may have.
With two playgrounds and a gated sports field, children have plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Here, children are encouraged to explore open-ended creation with natural materials and engage in nature-based play, fostering creativity and a connection to the natural world.

To complete your registration, you must provide a non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee. The registration fee for infant care, toddler care, and preschool programming is $200 per child; for camp, the fee is $100 per child.
