Is your child too old for Sunflower Camp, but too young for JCYS North? Rising Pre-K and rising Kindergarteners will love the summer fun at JCYS Lil’ North Suburban Day Camp! Campers enjoy all the classic summer camp activities, including free swim 2 days per week, arts and crafts, sports, and music. Children also enjoy afternoon special activities such as cooking, drama, and yoga throughout the week.
Additionally, every Friday, campers participate in a Shabbat celebration. We welcome children of all faiths to sing, dance, learn about Shabbat traditions, and enjoy a morning snack of challah and grape juice.
Just like our Sunflower Campers, children in JCYS Lil’ North also enjoy theme weeks that showcase special snacks, activities, and visitors to the Buffalo Grove center. Weekly themes for last summer included Science Lab, Build-It Week, Under the Sea Week, and Rainbow Connections (exploring colors and the color wheel).
JCYS Lil’ North is led by veteran teachers. Children enrolled in JCYS programming will recognize many of the teachers and seeing familiar faces will help children easily transition to summer camp and enjoy the JCYS Lil’ North experience. And all campers will love our beautiful facility and outdoor playground with a rainbow sprinkler!

To complete your registration, you must provide a non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee. The registration fee for infant care, toddler care, and preschool programming is $200 per child; for camp, the fee is $100 per child.
