Child and Family Development Specialist
Ferdinand has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 20 years supervising staff including teachers, family support specialists, doulas, and education coordinators. Prior to joining JCYS he worked as a teacher for all ages at Birth to Five, then became a Developmental Therapist focusing on Speech Services under a Speech Therapist supervision. Those services were while he was working for Early Intervention. After being a therapist, he worked as a Lead Family Support Specialist. For the last 10 years, he has been a program coordinator, program manager, and director for Early Childhood programs. He holds multiple degrees including a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Needs, a degree in Communication Disorders, and a Master’s Degree in Instruction Design Technology. Fundamentally, he is here to support teachers, parents and children to help ensure that your children have a great preschool experience.
